As a 3D developer, do I have any constraint regarding the sizeof my 3D files? |
| |
Well, the constraint are the usual constraint of real time 3D. Just keep in mind today's average end user configuration. You will get optimal quality if your animated scene stays under (but not limited to) 15000 triangles. |
What about textures? |
| |
256 X 256 is today's current maximum size. QEDStudio will compress the textures in JPEG format, so it is better to work with JPEG textures, but not mandatory. Alpha channels are also supported with TGA textures. Note that these textures are not compressed in JPEG and then must be used for alpha channels only. |
